Privacy
Short version: your data stays in your browser.
What stays on your device
Searches, your shortlist and notes, devices, warranty details, repair plans, service history, quotes, maintenance plans and attached files are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB on this device. They are not uploaded. Clearing site data for servicecentres.com deletes them; export a backup first if you need them.
Location
Your current position is requested only if you press “Use my current location” and agree in our explanation dialog and in your browser’s prompt. It is held in page memory for distance estimates, shown rounded, never stored, never added to the address bar and never sent anywhere.
What we do not do
No accounts, no analytics, no session recording, no third-party fonts or scripts, no advertising scripts at present. If advertising is enabled in future it will be disclosed here and will not run inside tools that display your records.
External links
Calling a number, opening a brand’s site, or opening directions on OpenStreetMap takes you to a third party under its own privacy policy. These actions happen only when you click them.
Hosting
The site is served as static files. The hosting provider may keep standard access logs (IP address, requested file, time) as part of serving pages; those requests never contain your records.
