About ServiceCentres
A local-first finder and repair planner. This page lists what works today and what is still planned.
ServiceCentres.com is a client-side web app. Catalogue search, distance and schedule calculations, your device register, repair plans, history, quotes and attachments all run and stay in your browser. There is no account, no server-side processing and no analytics. External actions (calling, opening a brand site, directions) happen only when you click them.
No real service-centre catalogue is installed. The built-in pack is synthetic sample data so that the finder can be demonstrated; it is marked everywhere it appears. A curated catalogue needs permitted sources, an evidence review process and a correction channel before it can be published. See Data sources.

Engineering notes
Local saves use IndexedDB with revision fencing: if another tab changed the same records, this tab stops saving and asks you to reload rather than overwrite. Undo covers recent edits in each tool. If storage is unavailable or full, the tool says “not saved” and you can still export. Imported packs are validated strictly and displayed as text only. Not yet done from the PRD’s engineering contract: automated interruption testing at scale, schema migration tooling beyond version 1, and accessibility testing with assistive-technology users.
